Inflatable kayaks
Self-bailing inflatable kayaks are referred to as duckies.
Duckies

Duckies (or inflatable kayaks) are used on the Middle Youghiogheny River as part of the peddle paddle trips. We start at Ohiopyle State Park and bike along the bike trail for about 10 miles. |

| After reaching the destination by bicycle, our outfitter meets us to take the bikes back and to give us the duckies to paddle back down river to Ohiopyle State Park. The combined trip takes about 5 hours, so it is a full day activity. |  |
