Bill Weaver, Griffin Adventures |
Bill Weaver is co-owner of Griffin Adventures, professional vendor members of the Association for Challenge Course Technology. Bill has more than twenty years experience in the adventure / challenge course industry as both challenge course practitioner and full service vendor. He serves as Chair of the ACCT Review Committee as well as the current ACCT Board of Directors. Bill has been a presenter and member of the planning committee at the Jumonville conference for the past twelve consecutive years. Bill and his wife Joyce live on the family farm near eldest son and partner Joshua. Hagerstown Maryland serves as base of operations for Griffin Adventures, LLC which provides challenge course and climbing wall design, construction, inspection and training services. |

Brian is a father of two and owner of Redpoint Adventures. He has been building Challenge Courses for over 15 years. Brian lives and works out of Mercer PA. He enjoys not only the challenge course industry, but also racing motorcycles with his wife, Lorraine, son, Elijah, and daughter, Dannah. |

Dr. James Rimmer has a BA in Sociology, an M.Div. in Pastoral Counseling, and a D.Min. in Church Growth. Jim is the former director of the Leadership and Education Institute in Erie, PA. He has worked in experiential education for 9 years. |

Jordan Rimmer is the Director of Outreach and Youth Ministry at Glenwood United Methodist Church in Erie, PA. Before coming to Glenwood, Jordan was the Director of the Leadership and Education Institute, an experience-based learning program that worked with at-risk-youth, school groups, teachers, companies, athletic teams, and pastoral staffs. Jordan designed and ran programs teaching character, community, and leadership through experiences such as portable games and initiatives, a 16 element low ropes course, rock climbing, the Alpine Tower, and cooking in the kitchen. Jordan has facilitated for Executive Edge Inc. and has built for Redpoint Adventures. He contributed to the Revised and Updated Book of Raccoon Circles by Dr. Jim Cain and Dr. Tom Smith. |

Paul is the pastor of Valley View Baptist Church located in Reno, Ohio. He is also the Facility Manager for Faith Walk Challenge Course which is located on the church campus. Faith Walk's facilities are offered free of charge to all groups and is operated as a Ministry of the church as a gift to the community. It is staffed entirely by volunteers. During the 4 years that Faith Walk has been operating they have entered into a partnership with a local college, recieved a $26,500 grant to develop a Juvenile Diversionary Program, begun a cooperative effort with the local alternative sentencing Drug Court called Sobreity Through Experiential Programming (STEP), and become an outpatient therepy site for the Rehabilitatioin Services Division of a nearby hospital. |

Larry Beatty has served since 1982 as Executive Director/President of Jumonville. Larry has a masters degree in Outdoor Teacher Education and developed and directed both school camping and community recreation programs while he taught public school for almost 10 years. Larry has also served in several different leadership positions within the Christian Camp and Conference Association (formerly Christian Camping International/USA). Larry was also instrumental in developing the adventure program at Jumonville over 35 years ago and has also helped develop Challenge/Ropes Course and adventure training manuals that include spiritual applications. Larry has also led numerous seminars on both the local, regional, and national levels in the areas of Christian Camping and the field of Adventure Education and technology for CCCA, ACA, and the National United Methodist Camp Leaders Gathering. Larry’s avid interest and expertise in working with computers led him to be elected as the first president of the Western PA United Methodist Computer User’s Group and is known as a die-hard Macintosh fan. |

Ree has been with Jumonville since 1989. Certified as facilitator in 1993. Ree is convinced of the impact the adventure industry has on participants of all ages, whether Christian or preChrstian. She works with Jumonville’s Adventure Apprentice Program and does summer staff training. |

According to Dailey, there is not a lot about Dailey Chandler that is noteworthy to share. He, with his wife, serve the Lord at White Sulphur Springs in the capacity of Youth Programs Director. He is constantly amazed that he is given the opportunity to share the creation and Jesus he loves with people he encounters. |
Randy Steiner |
Randy has been employed with the Christian Children’s Home of Ohio (CCHO), a ministry that cares for, and works with, abused and neglected children. Of his 17 years of employment with CCHO, Randy has served the last 12 years as the Director of Poplar Ridge Adventures a challenge course, which is owned and operated by CCHO. Randy enjoys toys and their usefulness, and can often be found in toy stores looking for new and improved props to use for team building activities. When he is not “playing” on the challenge course, you may find him in a tree stand out in the middle of the woods, hunting for that big white-tail deer. Randy has been married for 20 years. He and his wife Laurie have three sons, Jeremy (18), Joshua (16), and Jared (14). |

Tony is owner of EdVenture Builders, a full service challenge course company. His passion for trees has led him to working as an arborist. Specifically working at hazardous storm work such as Hurricane Katrina & Rita. Storm work has provided Tony with an immense appreciation of how trees fail. Tim has worked for a number of years at summer camps and various outdoor learning schools around the country. He has lead and facilitated countless trips and adventure experiences with participants of all ages and abilities. For the last eight years he worked as a missionary for Touch the World Ministries as the Director of Outdoor Education. Recently he has taken a position with Universal Ropes Course Builders as a builder, inspector and trainer. Tim's passion is to use adventure experiences of all kinds as a tool to share the gospel and to strengthen and encourage believers in their faith. |

Chris is the Field Director for Wilderness Adventures, which is a program run through Houghton College. Chris is the Director/Caretaker of the challenge/ropes course on campus and also teaches some outdoor classes for the college. Along with his wife, Jaynie, Chris runs a summer outreach program for underprivleged youth from the county. In adition to staff training and challenge course facilitation, Chris teaches a wilderness medicine course for SOLO. |
