I was so very blessed...

“I had a fantastic time at CAT camp! I was so very blessed to be awarded a scholarship. Thank you once again for providing me the opportunity to attend.”

Hike to the Cross

No Jumonville visit is complete without including a hike to the cross.

Financial Aid for Summer Camp Events

A Note About Camp Costs:
The camp fees individuals, families and churches pay help provide for daily room and board for campers and volunteer staff. The fees also help with program material and equipment costs. For some events, transportation must be provided, as well as fees paid to adventure, sports & other contractors. Except for a limited number of campsite staff and students on Summer Program Staff, our events are generously staffed by an army of Christian volunteers. These volunteers - deans, counselors and special program resource people - make our summer program possible. Our prices are at or below the average for similar camp programs, and we do everything possible to keep costs down, while maintaining the best possible program, safety and spiritual standards for your child’s mountaintop experience at Jumonville.

SOURCES OF FINANCIAL AID

1. Conference Campership Aid - Call (800) 886-3382 for details
or download a pdf form here.
• Up to $75 - if a camper’s family qualifies for free/reduced school lunches.
• Up to $75 - family campership for 2nd or more siblings of the same household. Available to all.
• $10 - recruiter credit for each new, paying camper recruited.
Eligibility for camperships/discounts:
A limited number of camperships are available through Camping and Retreat Ministries. These camperships are to help campers who could not otherwise afford to go to camp. If you attend a United Methodist Church, the request for assistance should be made through your local United Methodist Church and should include your pastor’s signature. Applications for camperships must accompany your registration. Campership requests should be made early, as funds are limited and will be awarded on a first-come first-served basis.
Family Camperships
There are limited $75 camperships (shorter events pro-rated) available for families sending more than one child to camp on a first-come, first-served basis. (Family Discounts are already included in the prices of C.A.T. Camp and Mommy, Daddy & Me events.) The camperships are available to the second or more campers, who are siblings of the same household. Full-week camper will count as first camper. Application for the family campership must be made on a form available at your United Methodist Church. The pastor’s signature will verify eligibility.
Bring a friend and save money too!
The Conference Office in Cranberry Twp will give you a $10 credit for every new camper you recruit. The only rule is that the person(s) you recruit must be a “new” paying camper, never having attended any of our summer camping programs before. There is no limit to the number of new campers you can recruit. To take advantage of this offer, call our toll- free number and request a recruiter form or ask at your UM Church. Conditions apply for cancellations. Call office for details. (800) 886-3382 or (724) 776-2300 x232

3. Jumonville Kidz2Kamp Campership Program
Jumonville also has campership funds available for campers attending summer camp events. These camperships have been given by Jumonville's donors in an attempt to help campers that cannot afford the full cost of going to camp.
