I’ve camped at Jumonville many times, as a youth member, than later as a youth leader, and many times as our church would hold yearly retreats there. I’ve driven there for just a day visit just to feel closer to God. There is such a great feeling you get when you walk up to the top of the mountain and stand by that huge cross and can see forever in all directions...sitting up there reading God’s word and praying, is the best sensation. I love when the clouds are low, at night, and the spotlight in front of the cross causes an outline of the cross in the clouds up in the sky. These winter photos on here are absolutely beautiful. When I was a teen, we did several winter retreats here and always went sledriding and on one of the trips there, we drove over to Hidden Valley and went skiing.
