About Keith Kaufold

Keith is a very familiar face at Jumonville as he has worked on summer staff for 6 years, four of which he was dean of H.O.P.E. Camp. After working as summer staff, Keith has been dean of Ultimate Games Camp and Middle School Sampler Camp. Currently, Keith was ordained in 2011. He is appointed to Eighth Avenue Place, a new ministry in Homestead and Calvary UMC, in McKeesport. Keith continues to serve Jumonville by being on its Board of Directors. Jumonville is of much importance to Keith as he sees it as a place where a foundation is put into place for many- the person of Jesus Christ. Keith believes, "Jumonville creates a space where people can be themselves and allow God to be God. It has been amazing to see children come with little interest in the things of God and leave with a passion to know the Lord and to follow Him."

About Tim Goodman

Tim is 27 yrs old. Along with his brother and sister, he was raised by his parents (and grandparents) in Illinois. In 1994, he and his family were baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and "I have been forgiven of my sins and justified by grace through faith in Jesus Christ who loved me and gave himself for me." Through justification God has graciously ushered Tim into a life of discipleship and love as a son in Christ. In 2004, the Lord called him into ordained ministry and for the past six years he has been seeking and struggling to walk out this call. For three summers (2007, 2008, 2009), he was privileged to minister with and to the children in HOPE Camp at Jumonville. Through this ministry the Lord taught him a greater depth of God's love and what it means to serve others for the sake of Jesus. He is looking forward to being at Jumonville and ministering with and to campers again.

Tim graduated from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and married Melissa Shaughnessy in June 2011. He is seeking ordaination as an elder in The UMC. God has expanded his life of discipleship in blessing him with a relationship to Melissa, the most constant relationship through which they both practice love, forgiveness, repentance, and gratitude. Currently, God is inviting and teaching him to rest in the confidence of His love and to accept the peace of God that is able to guard his heart and mind in Jesus... Also, God is showing Tim what it means that the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to the poor, the hurting, and the fatherless through working at Eighth Avenue Place.
