Elementary CAT Camp - Ages 9-11 - Event # J7CTE - Cost $397.00

Arts and Crafts taught by trained artisans, crafters, and instructors. Creative arts include: pewter, leathercraft, photography, Ukranian eggs, woodburning, scrapbooking and much more! Running concurrent with CAT Camp is Elementary CAT Camp with creative programming specially designed for elementary ages. Special pricing for children 8 and under attending with parents. About Jim Gascoine

Jim Gascoine currently serves as the Associate Pastor at Dutilh United Methodist Church in Cranberry Twp., PA. He has been active in the camping ministry for most of his pastoral career, and has served as a Dean of Creative Arts Camp since 1993. Jumonville is one of his favorite places.

About Kevin Haley

Kevin is Senior Pastor of Grace United Methodist Church in Warren, PA. Graduate of Mercer High School (where he once put a cow on the second floor), Grove City College as a communications major with an emphasis in theater and speech (no livestock involved there!), and United Theological Seminary. Kevin has been blissfully married to Amy for 29 years and is the father of Chris and his wife Julie, and is the father of Greg. He enjoys serving the Lord in the most spiritually-dynamic congregation he has ever served in Warren! Kevin has been involved in Christian camping since attending Wesley Woods and Jumonville as a child and youth, serving as a volunteer counselor at Camp Allegheny's extended horse program for over 10 years and also on their board of directors, and most recently as a co-dean with a zany bunch of fellow pastors with CAT Camp.

About Wayne Meyer

Wayne Meyer is the lead pastor of the West End Circuit. Wayne has served Christ Community Church for the past 17 years. He has been a worship leader and dean at Cat Camp for the past 12 years. Wayne is married and has 2 sons and 3 grandsons.

About Ed Saxman

As a believer first, a husband and father second, and a pastor third, Ed hopes to exemplify the presence of God upon his life. Ed seeks an authentic lifestyle of "faith and works" in relationship to God's call and has a passion for bringing children and youth to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Ed grew up as the son of a United Methodist minister and my wife, Susan, grew up as the daughter of medical missionaries to Liberia, W. Africa. Ed has a passion for reading, running marathons, and rarely finds enough time for my pottery. Ed has ben a dean of CAT Camp for many years.

About Don Poole

Don serves as Pastor for Knox UMC in Knox, PA. He joined the CAT Camp dean team in 2007. He previously served as counselor for CAT Camp in 2003 and 2005.
