Family Kite Flying

Bring your family to Jumonville on Saturday April 2oth for a family fun day of kite flying and rocket launching!  We will have kite kits available for families to build and decorate and then take for a spin in the air.  You are also welcome to bring your own kite as well!  We will even have a station where families can build their own rocket using plastic bottles and see how high they can launch them up into the air.  Families are also welcome to stay for dinner once the event is over.

The event will begin at 2:00 PM and conclude at 5:00 PM.  Check in for the day will take place at Captain Webb.  It is the first building on your left when you enter by the sign and flags.  There is no fee for attending.  There is a fee for families and individuals that would like to attend dinner.  Dinner will be at 5:30 in the dining hall.  The event will happen rain or shine so dress accordingly.  Indoor activities will be available in the event of rainy weather.
