My husband and I have been blessed with 5 beautiful children and, as of this past fall, we also have a wonderful son-in-law to share our lives with. I have been a medical transcriptionist for 27 years, and I have been self-employed for 22 of those years. I have been homeschooling our youngest children for 8 wonderful years, and I have cyber-schooled 2 of our oldest children for a year each in the past. I have been a VBS teacher, a junior church teacher, and a BYF teacher in one capacity or another for most of my adult life. I love spending time with my family, and I enjoy getting to know all of God’s children, animals, the outdoors, photography, exercising, tap dancing, singing and, more than anything in this world, I love working for the Lord. I fell in love with Jumonville the first time I set foot on the grounds. I have been a camp counselor for 2 years now (This will make my 3rd year), and I love every minute I get to spend in this beautiful setting with these amazing young people. I count it as another of God’s blessings that I am able to share in this experience with each and every one of our campers. I know this year is going to be the best year yet. We have many exciting activities planned for the campers this year, and I am looking forward to getting started.
