Jim Guffey is relatively “new” to Jumonville having answered the call to service on Jumonville’s Board of Directors beginning in August 2017. While growing up in southwestern Pennsylvania, Jim was not active in the life and programs of Jumonville. However, having a weekend home on the Yough Lake, Jim was very familiar with the cross on top of the mountain and the work of Jumonville. Jim’s faith walk has led him to answer the call to South Hills Interfaith Movement (SHIM) where he has served as the Executive Director since 2007. Through his work at SHIM, Jim has the joy of “serving the least of these” and extending God’s love with dignity and respect. Jim resides in Bethel Park with his wife (Stephanie) and his children (Joshua – 18, Emily – 16, and Benjamin -13).
