A Meaningful Way to Start Easter Morning

Welcome Easter morning with worship, community, and a beautiful view as the sun rises over Jumonville.

The United Methodist Churches of Greater Uniontown invite you to join us for our annual Easter Sunrise Service at 7:00 AM, held outdoors on the lawn in front of the dining hall. Together, we’ll celebrate the hope of the resurrection with an encouraging message from local pastors and a peaceful view of the cross as dawn breaks.

This service is a meaningful way to begin Easter—surrounded by nature, faith, and neighbors from across the community.

What to Expect

  • A welcoming outdoor worship service at sunrise
  • Messages from local United Methodist pastors
  • A stunning view of the cross as the sun rises
  • A relaxed, come-as-you-are atmosphere

What to Bring

  • A lawn chair or blanket
  • Warm layers or a winter coat, depending on the weather

The service is typically held outside, weather permitting.

Giving Back

A freewill offering will be received during the service to support Kidz2Kamp, a scholarship fund that helps children from the surrounding area experience the joy and impact of camp.

Whether this is a long-standing tradition or your first time joining us, you are warmly invited to gather, worship, and celebrate Easter morning at Jumonville.

We look forward to welcoming you.
