Green Cathedral

Green Cathedral is a hidden gem of Jumonville. The gravel path to reach Green Cathedral is located across the road from the tee for hole number 1 of the disc golf course. Along the path, you will also see several trailheads, as well as a trail map, of our hiking trails and Fit Trail. Once you reach the end of the gravel path, you will reach an open area surrounded by gorgeous scenery! There are several ponds, bridges, and an amphitheater with benches so you can sit down and take in the beautiful sights around you.
Visitors are welcome to walk to the cross between the hours of dusk to dawn. The parking area for the path to the cross is located across the road from our swimming pool. To reach the parking area from main camp, make a left onto Jumonville Road heading towards route 40 and the Summit Inn. Once you pass our basketball courts and softball field, make the first left onto Old Braddock Road. You will then see a gravel pull off on your right across from the pool house.
Please take all trash with you and respect other guests and visitors. Dogs must be kept on a leash and you must clean up after them.
Jumonville was created for community and exists to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ by a mountaintop experience. Over the course of 75 years of ministry, we have served thousands of campers, families, retreat guests and volunteers through our facilities, services and programs. We are so grateful to have the trust and loyalty of so many wonderful people of faith.
