On-Site Adventure

Jumonville's Year-Round Indoor Climbing Facility

The Ben Cromer Adventure Center gives groups a fun, guided environment for challenge, encouragement, and team building year-round.

Each Adventure Center session is guided by a Jumonville facilitator and designed to help groups build confidence, teamwork, and encouragement together.

The experience is approachable for a wide range of ability levels, with a focus on participation and shared success rather than physical strength alone.

The Adventure Center is available year-round for an additional fee, and advance scheduling is recommended.

The Low Ropes Course That Builds Real Teams

The Low Element Team Building Course is one of Jumonville’s most requested group activities because it gives groups a hands-on way to build trust, communication, and teamwork together.

Each initiative gives participants a chance to listen, lead, problem-solve, and support one another in a meaningful group setting.

Sessions are available during fall, spring, and summer and typically require a minimum two-hour time block.

King Swing

The Multi-Level High Course and King Swing give participants the chance to step outside their comfort zones, build confidence, and experience encouragement from their group along the way.

Participants move through the course individually while receiving support and encouragement from the rest of the group. Each element creates space for personal challenge, shared celebration, and growth as participants climb higher than they thought they could.

Activities are available during the summer season.

Jumonville has been leading guided climbing excursions to nearby Greenbriar for more than 40 years.

Whitewater Rafting

The Yough Runs Right Through Your Retreat

Ohiopyle State Park is located just 20–30 minutes from campus and offers retreat groups access to rafting, biking, and outdoor adventure experiences.
