Planning a group retreat comes with a lot to carry: schedules, meals,
lodging, budgets, and the hope that the time away will truly matter for your group.
At Jumonville, we’ve been helping group leaders create meaningful retreat experiences for generations.
Our role is to make the planning process simpler so you can spend less time managing details and more time focused on your people.
With flexible lodging options, meeting spaces, home-cooked meals, and a staff that genuinely cares about your experience, we help create
a retreat environment where people can rest, reconnect, and grow together.
Who We Serve
We host a wide range of faith-based and nonprofit groups throughout the year, from small leadership retreats to large gatherings of more than 300 guests. If you're bringing people together with purpose, we'd love to help you create a retreat experience that fits your group well.
Youth Groups
Young people carry a lot. Time away with trusted adults in a structured, welcoming youth retreat environment helps them breathe, connect, and reconnect with what matters. Jumonville’s setting and group-friendly facilities make it easier to create a retreat experience students will remember.
Church Retreats
Whether it’s a planning weekend for your leadership team or a full church retreat, Jumonville has welcomed churches of every size and tradition for decades. We understand the heart behind what you're planning and the responsibility that comes with leading people well.
Women's & Men's Retreats
Sometimes the most powerful thing a group can do is step away on a men's or women's retreat together. Our campus offers quiet spaces for reflection and activity options for groups that want to move. You set the tone. We take care of the rest.
Marriage Enrichment Retreats
The Inn at Jumonville is especially well-suited for marriage retreats, offering comfortable private accommodations and a peaceful setting that encourages couples to slow down, reconnect, and spend intentional time together.
Family Groups
Family retreats create space for shared experiences, meaningful conversations, and time together away from everyday routines. From cozy cabins to full lodge accommodations, our campus gives multi-generational groups room to gather, eat together, and make lasting memories.
Nonprofit & Leadership Groups
Whether you're planning a leadership summit, staff retreat, board gathering, or community-building event, Jumonville offers the space, support, and flexibility to help your group focus on what matters most.
What You'll Find Here
Everything your group needs to step away, focus, and spend meaningful time together in one place.
A Setting That Speaks for Itself
Jumonville sits on 280 acres in the Laurel Highlands of southwestern Pennsylvania, about 50 miles south of Pittsburgh. The 60-foot Cross of Christ overlooks the campus and has become a meaningful landmark for generations of retreat guests.
The quiet mountain setting gives groups space to slow down, reflect, and spend intentional time together.
Flexible Lodging for Real-World Groups
From hotel-style rooms at The Inn at Jumonville to cabins and larger lodge accommodations across campus, we offer lodging for groups of 20 to more than 300 guests.
Many lodging options include private or attached bathrooms, along with comfortable gathering spaces that help groups stay connected throughout the retreat. Whether your group prefers added comfort or a more traditional retreat atmosphere, we’ll help you find the right fit
Home-Cooked Meals, Every Time
Our dining hall seats up to 250 guests and serves hearty meals that help groups gather comfortably between sessions and activities.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are prepared on-site, and our team works with groups that have dietary needs or schedule considerations to help everyone feel cared for during their stay.
Activities for Every Group
Between sessions, groups can walk to the Cross, gather in the outdoor Green Cathedral amphitheater, tackle the challenge ropes course, or spend time at the Ben Cromer Adventure Center.
With indoor climbing spaces and year-round activity options, there are opportunities for both youth and adult groups to build connection, challenge themselves, and enjoy time together outside scheduled sessions.
Staff Who Go the Extra Mile
Our staff is here to support your retreat from the first inquiry through the final day of your stay.
We communicate clearly, respond quickly, and help your retreat run smoothly so you can focus on leading your group instead of managing logistics.

"Our community has been coming to Jumonville three times a year since 1979 — men's retreat, women's retreat, and community retreat. It has been such a blessing and an integral part of our life together. The facility is first rate, the setting is stunning, and the staff is tremendous!"
