A Supportive Weekend Retreat for Families Living with Autism
The Family Autism Retreat at Jumonville is a weekend experience thoughtfully designed for families living with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, or other differing abilities. This retreat creates a welcoming and supportive environment for individuals who may benefit from additional support during activities, transitions, or free time.
Families will spend the weekend together in a faith-filled community where everyone is welcomed, supported, and valued just as they are.
A Weekend of Connection, Faith, and Family Fun
At Jumonville, campers of all ages will have the opportunity to learn, play, and create alongside their neurotypical peers while enjoying the beauty of camp and the joy of community.
Throughout the retreat, families can participate in a variety of engaging and relaxing activities, including:
- Worship and faith-filled reflection
- Arts and crafts
- Games and recreational activities
- Relaxation and free time
- Meaningful family experiences in nature
These activities are designed to help families connect with one another while creating lasting memories together.
Thoughtfully Designed Support for Every Family
Family Autism Retreat is intentionally structured to support individuals who may need extra assistance during the weekend.
Additional supports may include:
- Help participating in activities
- Support understanding directions or making choices
- Access to quiet spaces for rest or sensory breaks
Our goal is to provide a comfortable and encouraging environment where every participant can enjoy the retreat at their own pace.
A Faith-Filled Community Where Everyone Belongs
At Jumonville, we celebrate the God who created each of us uniquely. Family Autism Retreat is a place where every person is welcomed with compassion, understanding, and respect.
Families can experience worship, fellowship, and community in a space that embraces each individual exactly as they are.
Join us at Jumonville for a meaningful weekend of faith, connection, and support for the whole family.
