Chelsea & Eric Oliver

Eric and Chelsea Oliver have been a dynamic sibling duo since the summer of ’89. Eric (27) and Chelsea (25) have a long history with Jumonville and are excited to be returning this summer as deans. In 2000, both enjoyed their first summer camp experience at Summer’s Last Blast and returned each year after. Eric, headed to various sports camps, while Chelsea, always with a flair for the dramatics, went to (you guessed it) Drama Camp. After aging out as campers, both joined the Jumonville staff. Chelsea was on Program Staff in 2008, and joined HOPE Camp for 2009, 2010, and was the female dean of HOPE Camp in 2011. Eric served as a volunteer counselor to multiple camps and was the Truck Driver in 2009 and 2010.

More professionally, Eric currently serves as Pastor to four United Methodist churches in Corry, Pa (Evangelical, Elgin, Wayne Valley and McCray). He attended Mount Union College for his Bachelors in Religious Studies and Psychology and earned his Masters of Divinity from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in 2013. Chelsea graduated from Seton Hill University in 2011 with a dual Bachelors degree in New Media Journalism and Communication and also earned her Masters in 2013 from Point Park University, with a concentration in Public Relations and Advertising.

Both Oliver kiddos are prone to quoting movies and impersonating famous people (though Chelsea’s skills are a bit more polished, remember…Drama Camper). It is also vital to note that Eric was a member of the “award winning” Pittsburgh Theological Seminary Ultimate Frisbee team. They also can agree that mountain pies are a fantastic meal, but will never agree on what ingredients make the best pie. AND they are both thrilled to bring all of their “skills” back to the mountaintop they love for a week full of fun and learning about Jesus with a (more than likely) amazing group of kids!
