Franklin Blackstone

My first experience at Jumonville was as Counselor to junior high boys in 1951, and counseling several weeks in later years.   I also attended a couple of Young Adult Weekends in the mid-1950s. Our family went to Family Week in 1971 and were involved in organizing the first CAT Weeks beginning in 1972.   I met the Lord there in person at a Lay Witness Mission weekend in the mid-1960s.  I was elected to the Board in 1968, served as Board President from 1970 to 1975 and Chairman in 2007-8 when term limits got in the way of the successor.  From 1980 to date, I have been a Director, Board Secretary, or Emeritus Director.  What a privilege!
